GENERAL EDITOR
	Katherine Reed Katherine Reed joins Adelante! after a five-year stint in Prague, Czech Republic, where she was the editor-in-chief of Prague Business Journal and an instructor at the Center for Independent Journalism. She taught news writing and reporting at Hollins University in Roanoke, Va., where she also worked as a copy editor and film/theater reviewer for the Roanoke Times. She received a master’s degree in English and creative writing from Hollins in 1991 and a bachelor’s degree in journalism (news-editorial) from the University of Missouri in 1982.
ASSISTANT EDITORS
	Marina Walker Marina Walker is an Argentine journalist studying at the Missouri School of Journalism. She is a writer for Los Andes newspaper in Mendoza, Argentina, where she has worked for five years. In 2003, Marina was awarded the Tina Hills Fellowship for Latin American journalists and joined Adelante. Her side passion is tango.
	Tracy Dahl Tracy Dahl is the assistant managing editor for the English portion of Adelante. She learned about the importance of bilingual publications while living in Austria. She is a graduate student in editing at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
ASSOCIATE EDITOR
	Suan Pineda Estudiante de periodismo en la Universidad de Missouri-Columbia. Nacio en Panama de padres chinos. Actualmente, es la productora del programa radial "La Hora Latina", KOPN 89.5 FM.
STAFF COORDINATOR
	Julio César Urdaneta Venezuelan Journalist Julio Urdaneta has been the staff coordinator since August 2003. Before working with Adelante! Mr. Urdaneta worked in the City Hall of his hometown, Valera, and in Diario de Los Andes in the same city.
DESIGNER
	Zeina Makky Zeina Makky is a second year graduate student focusing on news design at the University of Missouri-Columbia. After living in France for 13 years, she came back to her native United States to finish her studies. She has been Adelante's designer/illustrator since September 2003.
PHOTO EDITORS

	Adam Williams Is a native Missourian earning his master's degree in photojournalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia and is a staff photographer for the Columbia Missourian, as well as Adelante. Recently he served four years in the U.S. Army serving various assignments in the U.S. and South Korea.
INTERNET TEAM
	Beth Welsh Beth Welsh is a graduate student in photojournalism with an emphasis in online journalism, and is a native of Kansas City, Missouri. Since becoming webmaster for Adelante, she has grown much more thankful of her three years of high school Spanish.
	Javier Solano Marzo Javier Solano is a recent graduate from the University of Navarra, Spain. His professional career brought him to Columbia last year, where he now works.
REPORTERS & PHOTOGRAPHERS
	Diego Sorbara Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Diego Sorbara is a currently working on degrees in news/editorial journalism and French. He is Adelante's education reporter, but he also doubles as a copy editor in a pinch. When he's not writing, he loves traveling across the Midwest in his Volvo.

	Sara Stoltz Sara Stoltz is a sophomore magazine major from Dallas, Tx. She is currently working as Adelante's sports reporter and continues trying to learn Spanish. She hopes to travel to Spain next year and enjoys spending time with her family in Texas.
	Sara E. Alsup
	alonso soto Mr. Soto was born in Managua, Nicaragua. He is a student of journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia and is seeking a broadcasting degree. He has worked before for bilingual publications and also in newspapers in Central America.

	Evan wilder As photographer and photo editor at Adelante since 2001, Evan enjoys working with the magazine. He moved to Columbia from Harlingen, Texas in 2001 and is currently a student in the photojournalism sequence at the Missouri School of Journalism.
	Laura Girresch Originally from the St. Louis area, Laura is working on a degree in magazine journalism and a minor in Spanish at MU. Her interest in cultural feature writing and curiosity about the growing Latino community brought her to Adelante.
