Local folks on both sides of the fence It’s
very good, but we want deeds, not a political commentary. All we
want to do is work. If they’re illegal and not supposed to be here,
they should be deported. If they wanted to enter this country, they
should have done it legally. The plan is good, but it’s not as easy as he
presents it. For now, it’s just a proposal. Nobody has promised
anything. I heard it will take a year or two before they begin
it. But we would have to see what they want in exchange…. Nobody
gives away anything for free. Some would dislike the plan because people here don’t
have jobs. Focus on getting people over here jobs first. If they were here illegally, them being allowed to
work sends the wrong message. Enough people over here are out of work. I don’t think they’ll do anything in
the end. Bush just wants to build support, to be popular. |
