Mariposa
 Las orugas que son unas malcriadas devoradoras de hojitas se convierten en maripositas serviciales. Igual que las abejas, ayudan a polinizar las flores. Cuando se trata de comer, sus pies realmente saben por dónde andar; ahí es donde encontrarás sus papilas gustativas.

Butterfly
 Naughty leaf-chewing caterpillars grow up to be helpful little butterflies. Much like bees, they help pollinate flowers. When it comes to eating, their feet truly lead the way; that’s where you’ll find their taste buds.

 

Lombriz
 Las lombrices (que no son insectos) son una de las criaturas más románticas del mundo: ¡tienen siete corazones! Quizá eso las hace naturalmente ge-nerosas. Son los recicladores originales del mundo. Si te pones a explorar, encon-trarás el rastro de su camino — dejan pequeños bultitos después de comer. Estos bultitos son tan nutritivos para las plantas como la leche y la espinaca para los seres humanos.		 Earthworm
 Earthworms are not insects, but they are one of the world’s most romantic critters – they have seven hearts! This probably accounts for their generous nature. They are the earth’s original recyclers. Investigate and you’ll find the trail they’ve left on the ground in the form of little round mounds called “castings.” Castings are as nutritous to plants as milk and spinach are to humans.
Mariquita
 ¡Si eres un pulgón ten cuidado! Tus días de destrucción han llegado a su fin. Las mari-quitas son el insecticida natural del mundo. Los jardineros suelen comprarlas en grandes cantidades para deshacerse de insectos dañinos. Pero las mariquitas mismas no son apetitosas. Su llamativo color rojo es una advertencia a los pájaros de su mal sabor.
Lady Beetle
 If you’re an aphid, watch out! Your plant-trashing days are over. Lady beetles are the world’s natural insecticide. Gardeners often buy them in bulk to suck the life out of pests. But ladybeetles themselves are far from delicious. Their bright red color is a warning to birds of their bad taste.
